⏹️Ero curioso ed ho fatto una situazione riassuntiva
➡️Nel 2025 il processo di semplificazione degli ESRS ha fatto un salto di qualità: EFRAG ha trasformato il mandato della Commissione in un pacchetto di standard molto più leggeri, con una riduzione significativa dei datapoint obbligatori ma mantenendo l’obiettivo di informazioni utili e comparabili.
Le tappe chiave del 2025
➡️26 febbraio 2025 – EFRAG conferma pubblicamente l’impegno a rivedere e semplificare gli ESRS in risposta all’“Omnibus Simplification Package” della Commissione.
➡️27 marzo 2025 – La Commissione europea formalizza il mandato a EFRAG per fornire un parere tecnico sulla revisione degli ESRS, con scadenza indicativa 31 ottobre 2025.
➡️24 aprile 2025 – EFRAG trasmette alla Commissione il Work Plan con il cronoprogramma dettagliato della revisione, che prevede consultazione pubblica e consegna del parere entro fine 2025.
➡️20 giugno 2025 – EFRAG pubblica un Progress Report sullo stato di avanzamento dei lavori di revisione.
➡️31 luglio 2025 – Pubblicazione delle Exposure Drafts dei 12 ESRS semplificati (Set 1 rivisto), con riduzione di circa il 60–70% dei datapoint e log delle modifiche standard per standard.
➡️31 luglio – 29 settembre 2025 – Consultazione pubblica sugli ESRS semplificati; arrivano oltre 700 commenti da imprese, associazioni e professionisti, utilizzati per ulteriori aggiustamenti.
➡️➡️3 dicembre 2025 – EFRAG invia alla Commissione europea il parere tecnico finale sui draft semplificati ESRS, segnando una tappa politica e tecnica decisiva nel percorso di alleggerimento degli oneri.
➡️➡️➡️4 dicembre 2025 – Lancio dell’ESRS Knowledge Hub, che diventa il punto di accesso unico per standard adottati, versioni semplificate, Q&A e materiali educativi.
Prossimi passi attesi
The Commission will now prepare the Delegated Act revising the existing set of ESRS based on EFRAG’s technical advice.
As part of this process, the Commission will consult with relevant EU bodies (including the European supervisory authorities and the European Central Bank) and Member States, after which it will launch a one-month public consultation.
The consultation processes will only begin after thehashtag#Omnibusis finalised given the interdependencies between thehashtag#ESRSand the underlying regulation.
After the consultations, the Commission will propose the Delegated Act, which will then be subject to scrutiny by the Council and the European Parliament for four months (extendable by two months).
If neither institution objects within the review period, the ESRS will be adopted and will take effect in Member State laws.
➡️European Commissioner Maria Luís Albuquerque mentioned during her speech at the ➡️EFRAG conference ➡️on 4 December that the Commission intends to adopt the revised ESRS ➡️by mid-2026.
